Artist Statement
I took this photo on a trip to New York City. I was showing another friend (her first visit to the Big Apple) around on the upper deck of one of the double decker buses. I was trying to find opportunities for unique architectural abstracts as we rode around town. Near the World Trade Center Site, I saw this shot. The bus paused briefly at the traffic light long enough for me to try to catch the diagonal shot I was hoping for. The lighting could not have been better if I had planned it. Adding a little saturation in Photoshop brought out the blue reflection from the sky on the white building. |
